Walking through Londontown

So today was wonderful. I love London, I love being home, and I love perfect weather. We started off the morning on a walking tour which was really just walking from Westminster to Big Ben to parliament and tubing it to the Tower Bridge and Tower of London. I had never seen the changing of the guards though so that was kind of fun!

Then it was free time so Lindsey and I walked over Tower Bridge and strolled along the Thames river walk. We ate at the Bagel Factory (one of my favorites) and walked by the Millennium Bridge, St. Paul's, The Tate, The Globe, and The London Eye. We also happened upon Burrough Market, so I got Bailey's and chocolate cheesecake for dessert.

We decided to tube it over to Trafalger Square (my favorite place in London). We watched some street performers and got Chai Lattes at Cafe Nero! I made her try the divine chocolate muffins as well. We walked back through Piccadilly Circus up through Oxford Circus before we parted ways so I could go meet Rania (My director from Three Penny)!!

I met Rania near the National and we went for drinks! (They had Magners on tap!) And we just caught up for about 2 hours. It was WONDERFUL to see her, and she promised to visit New York in the next few months. She said BADA this semester didn't compare to last year :P After talking for awhile she was off to a movie, so I grabbed a chorizo sandwich from off the street and ate it outside while I browsed some stores. Then I headed to the National to see The Holy Rosenbergs. It had Henry Goodman in it who taught a master class at BADA! It was really good. Very well written and acted. The first act was a little slow though (probably because I was ridiculously exhausted and kept nodding off) but the second act made up for it! I stayed awake so it musta been good!

Now Im back at the hotel completely exhausted but planning for my last day in London...I don't wanta leave...I think I'll just stay here and meet them in Greece...
